Job Summary

To provide and interpret financial information to the business unit for informed decision making. To lead the planning process for the respective Business Unit. Information gathering for market analytics and insights around market share, competitor analysis, specific financial impacts that pertain to market changes. Tracking of initiatives to plan.

The Business partner co-creates Finance capabilities required to lead to exponential growth and business effectiveness.

Job Description

  • Prepare the management reports, monthly scorecards, sales reports, special data analysis, and ad-hoc information reports to enable decision making.

  • Submit financial reports to the Business unit head, on or before the agreed deadline.

  • Ensure appropriate, quality and timeous delivery of accurate financial and non-financial management information to support business objectives and expectations, including appropriate financial and non-financial metrics, valid and insightful comments and packaging the information in a relevant and appropriate manner.

  • Prepare the short-term plan (STP), medium term plan (MTP) and rolling forecast (RAF) and budgets with the relevant stakeholders to enable consolidation into the Cluster forecast and budget.

  • To monitor actual performance against target and to analyses variances.

  • Take a commercial view on business and provide contextual insights into performance reports.

  • Provide insights across the markets and products.

  • Produce reports that enable the identification options for improved financial performance and cost reduction.

  • Support the business (in the production and review of specific technical elements of Management Accounts KPIs, margins review, FTP, endowments.)
