Role Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analysis Lead Analyst to manage key month-end processes, financial controls, annual reporting activities and implement efficiency improvements using Alteryx as needed. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial results and supporting documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in financial reporting, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Month-end - overall responsibility for all month-end files and activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness, working closely with the Genpact team. Items included but not limited to:
- Preparation of the monthly Flash and MOR decks.
- Provide inputs to the Consumer Duty dashboard requests
- Oversight of the subsegment analysis produced by Genpact team
- Prepare Guernsey MOR deck
- Update monthly Reconciliation Tracker, highlighting any trends as needed
- Prepare Variance Analysis files
- Prepare MOR Drivers files
- Prepare and issue month-end calendar
- Controller - preparation of the trackers and hosting regular calls with wider teams, including but not limited to:
- introduce new Control processes as needed
- Service Level Agreements
- Bad Debt
- Profit Share / Risk Share
- One Timers
- Cross-Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner closely with Genpact to ensure documentation is current and processes are well-documented across teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation using Alteryx.
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share monthly results and forecast impacts.
- Participate in business projects as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Alteryx experience an advantage
Key Skills/Competencies:
- Strong influencing skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft suite products, including Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
