Financial Advice Assistant
We are seeking a candidate with strong organizational and communication skills to provide essential support to Financial Planners and process New Business across a wide range of providers and product types. This role offers hands-on experience in client service and financial product administration within a collaborative and professional environment. If you are detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and thrive on delivering high-quality service, you’ll be an excellent fit.
What you will do:
Submit New Business applications across a wide range of providers and platforms, covering various product types such as pensions, investments, and inheritance tax planning, ensuring an extremely high standard of accuracy and compliance.
Liaise with insurers and providers to ensure timely delivery of information and implementation of our recommendations.
Monitor insurer and provider performance on behalf of clients, escalating and challenging issues at a higher level to achieve resolution.
Accurately complete and maintain the client database to ensure up-to-date and reliable client records.
Respond to ad hoc client queries promptly and professionally.
Provide a service fully compliant with Mercer procedures and the Code of Professional Conduct.
What you need to have:
Good numeracy, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize your own workload effectively.
Proficiency with IT systems relevant to the role.

Experience within the Financial Services industry.
Currently studying for or holding the Certificate in Financial Planning or Diploma in Regulated Financial Services.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Financial Services industry and the products available.
