Position Overview:

Freddie Mac’s Finance Division is currently seeking a Financial Accounting & Analysis Professional to support monthly financial analytics and reporting function within the Multifamily CFO group. This position is responsible for the provision of timely, accurate and reliable financial and business information. This role involves the preparation of monthly and quarterly analytical reports, which are utilized for internal and external reporting purposes.

Provide financial results and explain the financial drivers to support financial disclosures and business reporting to upper management.

Your Impact:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly analytical reports to support the financial close and 10K/10Q reporting processes

  • Produce financial and business information for inclusion in management reporting presentations, Treasury reports, Board reports, FHFA requests, News Releases, and Public Financial Reporting

  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests and special projects

  • Assist in analyzing the impacts of new business initiatives and transactions on processes and reporting

  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal business partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field

  • At least 2 years of related accounting and reporting experience

  • Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and reporting concepts

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skill

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Learn and understand the key business concepts and market drivers central to explaining our financial results

  • Experience with and an aptitude to learn new software; experience with Hyperion, Python and Workday a plus

  • Ability to work with and collaborate across the team

  • Detail oriented, strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities

  • Self-starter

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $75,000 - $113,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
