Financial Accountant – Maternity cover contract

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated accountant to join our finance team.  Our Financial Accountant will work within a wider team of financial accountants to ensure timely and accurate group reporting and statutory reporting.

The Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all monthly and quarterly processes including the preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for assigned legal entities
  • Ownership of annual statutory reporting for assigned entities including management of internal and external audits
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and support the audit process by providing timely and accurate information and data
  • Support tax department to ensure tax and other statutory compliance deadlines are met for assigned countries
  • Strong collaboration with other teams within finance, including tax, FP&A, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and documentation.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma and a recognized accounting qualification with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience preferred
  • Experience in a multinational company is an advantage but not essential
