Finance Transformation Lead
Location: Remote - US 


At Sony Interactive Entertainment, we’re redefining the future of Finance—evolving into a strategic, data-driven partner to the business. The Finance Transformation Office (FTO) leads this journey through global, cross-functional initiatives focused on innovation, operating model design, and operational excellence.

As a Finance Transformation Lead, you will play a critical role in executing high-impact transformation programs. You’ll lead day-to-day program management and change initiatives, translating strategy into action and ensuring delivery against key business outcomes—on time, on budget, and with strong adoption.

This is a highly visible, individual contributor role that partners closely with senior leaders across Finance, HR, IT, and external partners to drive meaningful, scalable change.

What You’ll Do

Drive Transformation Execution

  • Lead end-to-end execution of Finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements and system implementations
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage project governance, including RAID logs, KPIs, and executive reporting
  • Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery

Design Future-State Operating Models

  • Support the design and implementation of Finance Target Operating Models (TOM) and Service Delivery Models
  • Conduct current-state assessments, including process mapping and capability evaluations
  • Leverage data and insights to inform scalable, efficient future-state solutions

Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, HR, and external vendors to align on priorities and execution
  • Act as a liaison between the Transformation Office and business teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Coordinate global, cross-functional teams to drive alignment and accountability

Enable Change & Adoption

  • Execute change management strategies to support adoption of new processes and systems
  • Develop and deliver communications, training, and stakeholder engagement plans
  • Lead workshops and feedback sessions to ensure business readiness and sustained adoption

What We’re Looking For

  • 12+ years of experience in Finance transformation, consulting, or related roles
  • Strong program management experience delivering complex, global initiatives
  • Deep understanding of Finance processes (e.g., R2R, S2P, O2C) and operating model design
  • Experience with ERP implementations, automation, or analytics-driven transformation
  • Proven ability to influence and lead in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with change management and driving adoption

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • PMP, Prosci, or other change/project management certifications
  • Background in management consulting (Big 4 or similar)

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$148,500$222,700 USD
