Facilities Management – Finance Team
Position Overview
Interested in a future career in finance? Facilities Management is seeking a motivated Finance Student Worker to support the FM Finance team with purchase order analysis and related financial operations. This position is ideal for students majoring in accounting, finance, or business administration who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional finance environment.
The position can start during the Spring 2026 semester, with most hours worked during Summer 2026. 10-15 hours per week not to exceed 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Research and review existing open purchase orders for Facilities Management
Identify purchase orders that are eligible for closure
Contact purchase order requesters to confirm status and obtain updated information
Identify discrepancies, invoicing errors, or other issues related to purchase orders
Communicate findings and recommendations to the supervisor as needed
Assist with additional administrative and reporting tasks as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
