The Finance Staff Director – FP&A Management provides strategic financial leadership and oversight for a cost and/or profit center, product line, project, or service within Cordant Solutions. This role drives financial planning, analysis, and performance management while partnering closely with business and functional leaders to shape strategy, inform decision making, and deliver sustainable business results.

Operating at a senior leadership level, the role leads multi‑layered regional and global teams and addresses complex, often unprecedented financial challenges requiring innovative approaches and deep functional expertise.

As a Finance Staff Director – FP&A Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning financial performance for assigned cost centers, profit centers, products, projects, or services, with direct accountability for planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Partnering with senior business and functional leaders to provide strategic financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support policy and investment decisions with direct impact on business results.

  • Developing a clear financial vision aligned to business strategy and leading the organization through complex financial and operational issues.

  • Leading, developing, and motivating multi‑layered professional teams across regions or globally, ensuring high standards of analytical rigor and execution excellence.

  • Delivering highly complex and specialized FP&A work, including long‑range planning, scenario modeling, and performance optimization initiatives.

  • Managing unique and non‑precedent financial cases by designing new analytical frameworks, methodologies, and approaches as required.

  • Driving continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and governance to strengthen transparency, controls, and decision quality.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Have a minimum of 5 additional years of experience in functional management, with demonstrated leadership in finance or FP&A environments.

  • Have strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Have proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities, including leading diverse teams across functions and geographies.

  • Have demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial and business problems and drive effective resolutions.

  • Have a proven track record of leading programs and projects with material business impact.

  • Have strong planning, documentation, and execution skills, supported by established project management experience.
