Job Description Summary

The Global Business Services (GBS) team helps drive BD forward by seeking out and implementing innovative ways to operate effectively and efficiently.  We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Finance Senior Manager, Global Functions for our Budget Planning & Analysis service line.  This role is responsible for serving as Finance business partner for Finance function and other in-scope functions. In addition, this role will help identify transformation opportunities, partner with the global process teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Key Responsibilities: 

The Finance Senior Manager, GBS FP&A Global Functions role partners closely with senior leadership of functions in scope to deliver financial insights and recommendations that enable informed decision making and effective execution of strategic priorities. 

  • Act as the primary finance partner to global functional leaders, providing proactive financial insight and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. 

  • Align with senior cross-functional leaders for effective investment, prioritization and risk management strategies. 

  • Influence senior stakeholders by clearly articulating financial implications of business initiatives, trade-offs, and investment choices. 

  • Responsible for reporting and analysis of Global budgets/results for functions within scope Support, monitor and report relevant global functional metrics/results (e.g., headcount, regional budgets/results, vendor spend)  

  • Own consolidated global financial outlooks, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment across regions and cost centers. 

  • Collaborate cross functionally and across regions to support global functions, ensuring alignment and transparency.   

  • Lead global financial planning activities, including ASR, budget, forecast, and capital expenditure processes, while supporting the forecasting, tracking, and reporting of special projects and investments as necessary. 

  • Manage the financial models and analyses development in support of global functional leadership, cost center owners and regional financial leadership 

  • Champion best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the global finance organization. 

  • Coach and mentor finance analysts or managers, fostering strong business partnering and analytical capabilities.   

 

In addition, this role will support Continuous improvement management & Transformation planning  to improve core processes 

  • Identifies opportunities to standardize and improve operational processes. Provide relevant input into tech & process standardization roadmap and requirements 

  •  Partner with global process teams to implement process improvements. Serve as champion and strategic advisory to global process teams on opportunity identification, design, and issue resolution 

  • Conducts ad hoc projects and unusual or complex assignments, supporting multiple projects in a time sensitive environment. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in financial analysis supporting global or matrixed organizations
  • Previous experience in a Budget Planning & Analysis function or similar finance sub-function
  • Experience working at a global level
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders in a complex, global environment
  • Experience developing/influencing teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, BPC, SAP, JDE
  • PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Self-driven, proactive attitude with focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with strong attention to detail
