Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis & Reengineering

    • Evaluate existing financial systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
    • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and Pareto analysis to prioritize improvement areas.
    • Design and implement reengineered processes leveraging automation and best practices.
  • Systems Integration & Optimization

    • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes into SAP/S4 or other ERP platforms.
    • Support implementation of financial technology projects, including RPA and AI-driven solutions.
    • Manages the implementation of a system solution from beginning to end for a customer and creates a plan for testing new systems.
    • Troubleshoots current applications and solves minor issues independently.
    • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
    • Interacts with internal customers, examining moderately complex issues or concerns to find a solution.
    • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to identify the business potential of a given project.
    • Solves moderately complex, multiple systems problems.
    • Develops risk mitigation and fall back strategies.
    • Generates ideas for projects.
  • Compliance & Governance

    • Ensure redesigned processes meet internal policies, SOX compliance, and regulatory standards.
    • Maintain documentation of workflows, approvals, and control points.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with Finance leadership, deployment leads, and optimization analysts to align process changes with strategic goals.
    • Communicate process changes effectively across teams and provide training where necessary.
  • Performance Monitoring

    • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track the effectiveness of reengineered processes.
    • Continuously monitor and refine processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial process analysis and systems reengineering.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/S4 preferred) and financial applications.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools (e.g., SIPOC, value stream mapping).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to RPA tools and automation frameworks.
  • Experience in large-scale finance transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and internal audit processes.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $71,500.00 - $164,400.00
