The Role & What You Will Be Doing

As the Site Operations Finance Manager, you will serve as the key onsite Financial partner to the Site Leadership Team, responsible for all site-level financial activities, cost accounting, and strategic performance management. You will be a hands-on leader, driving the accuracy of manufacturing costs (Standard Costing), inventory valuation, and variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) within a GMP-regulated environment. This role is vital for optimizing manufacturing efficiencies and driving profitability.

The role requires physical presence on-site at Inverin location at least 3 days per week, and occasional attendance at Casla location, working closely with Senior Leadership and Operations teams.

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Financial Performance Management: Lead monthly manufacturing performance reporting (output, yields, overheads) up to full site P&L view in line with Global calendars. Perform any month-closing activities as required.
  • Standard Costing: Own standard costing, partnering with site functions and Injectables Finance colleagues to deliver annual Product Standard COGS including New Product Introduction.
  • Variance Analysis: Drive rigorous analysis of variances, partnering with Operations to resolve discrepancies and identify cost-saving initiatives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and Latest Estimate cycles.
  • Inventory & Fixed Assets: Oversee site Inventory at risk review and Fixed Asset cycle count & records.
  • Capital Investment Support: Provide financial evaluation of capital projects (CAPEX), including NPV, IRR, and payback calculations.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and corporate policies. Support Statutory Audit and act as site liaison for corporate and external audit teams.
  • Business Partnership: Act as the trusted finance partner to the Site Leadership Team, translating financial data into actionable insights for functional leaders.
  • Other: Support site Finance Lead with implementation of Operations Excellence program.
  • Projects and ad-hoc perform as assigned to cover a diverse range of business issues.

About Your Skills & Experience

Knowledge:

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA…)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, SAP FI, Hyperion are highly preferred.
  • Experienced Business Partnering with non-Finance functions.
  • Expertise in financial operations processes, systems, and controls.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize work.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer focus.
  • Engaged team member with fluent skills in English both written and oral.
