Role Overview:
Join Maxis as an Finance & Operations Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting financial analysis and operational processes within the organisation. This role offers exposure to asset tracking, cross-functional coordination, and financial data analysis, providing valuable insights into how financial accuracy and operational efficiency are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Asset Reconciliation & Monitoring
Compare monitoring system records against asset listings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Identify discrepancies and support reconciliation efforts to maintain reliable data.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
Follow up with the network department to obtain supporting documents and required information.
Ensure timely communication and alignment across teams to support operational and financial processes.
3. Financial Analysis (Aging WIP)
Assist in the analysis of aging Work-In-Progress (WIP) balances to identify trends and potential issues.
Support reporting and provide insights to improve financial tracking and decision-making.
4. Documentation & Process Support
Maintain organized records of supporting documents, analysis, and reconciliation activities.
Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date to support audits and internal reviews.
5. Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve processes related to asset tracking and financial analysis.
Contribute ideas to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and workflow effectiveness.
Value-Added Project
The intern will gain hands-on experience in managing financial data and supporting operational processes, particularly in asset reconciliation and WIP analysis. This provides practical exposure to how financial controls and cross-department collaboration contribute to business performance.
