About the Role
Operations finance plays a critical role in HARMAN's business operations by enabling the business to achieve competitive performance and make tactical contributions to the organization's strategic goals and objectives. They also provide value-added decision-making support and assist with target setting to ensure the business is run efficiently, objectively and at peak performance.
Finance strives to provide consistent financial reporting, risk management and compliance, forecasting, and controls enabling management to drive continuous performance improvement in company's results.
What You Will Do
Responsible for managing applications for BOI privileges, preparing investment plans, equipment lists, and other related documents, and following up on the entire approval process with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI)
Regularly update on changes in BOI policies in Thailand
Mange new BOI projects / amend existing projects to align with factory production capacity and current product lines.
Prepare and review BOI compliance reports, annual operating reports, and incentive utilization submissions..
Observe and attend in any Business transaction change and investigate BOI impact or BOI processing such as amendment report
Work with internal departments such as procurement, Supply Chain, and production to align operations with BOI regulations.
Prepare documentation for audits and inspections related to BOI projects.
Monitor financial business performance of the plant on an ongoing basis, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Support plant operations and finance operations with financial analysis and reports, including variance analysis, and improvements recommendation, for CapEx, Expense and B/S
Support Operations finance leader ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, including risk management and internal controls.
Partner closely with operations department to ensure cost control functions are executed in accordance with company standards and policies
Build a positive work environment of outstanding teamwork and mutual respect
Other ad hoc project and tasks as assigned by direct superior
Ensure full compliance with customer-specific requirements by integrating customer quality standards into daily operations to consistently meet and support customer objectives.
Ensure full compliance with EHS requirements by implementing and adhering to established policies, procedures, and objectives to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
7 years of experience with standard costing, SAP and other financial analysis applications.
Proficient in accounting software-ERP, or SAP and Microsoft office
Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking
Ability to prioritize, manage time independently, set objectives and milestones.
Bonus Points if You Have
Experience in Electronic and automotive manufacturing
