Job Title: Finance Manager (International)
Your Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of accurate statutory reporting and compliant transfer pricing across Warner Music International Services Limited (WMISL) and other corporate entities. You will support the strategic and operational execution of financial reporting and transfer pricing compliance, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager (International) and partnering with Tax, Legal, Corporate Accounting, and Global Business Services teams. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be required to have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to support Warner’s global statutory and intercompany compliance objectives. You will also help drive process improvements, maintain a strong control environment, and contribute to cross-functional projects.
What You’ll Do
● Financial Reporting & Analysis
○ Prepare and review statutory financial statements for multiple legal entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local GAAP and global accounting policies.
○ Support the execution of transfer pricing compliance, including intercompany transaction reviews, transfer pricing documentation, and reconciliations.
○ Assist in applying OECD guidelines and Warner’s internal transfer pricing policies to day-to-day operations.
○ Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes by preparing required schedules, documentation, and analysis.
○ Maintain updated knowledge of accounting standards and local statutory requirements; flag any developments to the Senior Finance Manager and assess implications.
● Controls & Compliance
○ Ensure adherence to internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements across statutory and transfer pricing processes.
○ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control.
○ Monitor key compliance deadlines and manage the delivery of high-quality outputs within defined timelines.
● Stakeholder Engagement
○ Work closely with Group Tax, Legal, Corporate Accounting, and Shared Services to ensure alignment and data integrity across financial reporting and intercompany activities.
○ Support the coordination of cross-functional inputs required for statutory accounts and transfer pricing documentation.
○ Clearly communicate complex technical matters to both finance and non-finance stakeholders in a professional and collaborative manner.
● Team Collaboration & Development
○ Support junior team members through coaching, review, and sharing of best practices, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.
○ Collaborate closely with the Senior Finance Manager to identify team training needs and development opportunities.
○ Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
About You
● Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience in a multinational environment.
● Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS and/or UK GAAP) and understanding of transfer pricing principles.
● Experience in preparing or auditing statutory financial statements.
● Familiarity with intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance.
● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with stakeholders across departments and regions.
● Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and financial reporting tools is a plus.
