As our Finance Manager, you will partner with Operational and Commercial stakeholders to develop financial forecasts and pricing models, help lead the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process, and provide operating and financial variance analyses to drive strategic business decisions.

The Finance Manager will support FP&A P&L management activities for R1’s Patient Experience (PX) Solutions portfolio, partnering with internal stakeholders to support commercial / strategic decisions and quantify revenue and margin implications.

To thrive in this role, qualified candidates will need to have prior experience in an FP&A or related role, strong Excel expertise, demonstratable financial modeling experience, and strong analytical skills.

Here’s what you will experience as a Finance Manager in this role:

  • Work closely with Operations and Commercial teams to develop, maintain, and analyze financials models to maximize opportunities for revenue and margin growth
  • Lead monthly and quarterly financial forecasting, support annual budget planning, and calculate and communicate key financial drivers
  • Align with Accounting / Controllership during monthly and quarterly financial close to understand P&L impacts of pending ledger entries
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations for leadership, highlighting financial performance, trends, and recommendations
  • Support ad hoc modeling of various strategic initiatives and effectively communicate financial implications to business partners
  • Utilize credible and accessible data to help inform decision-making
  • Prepare and review calculations for multiple streams of revenue and work with clients to understand short and long-range revenue and margin forecasts
  • Develop transformative process solutions through automation, standardization, and innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in a Finance role
  • A minimum of 3 years of Finance experience required
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including prior experience with enhancing existing financial / pricing modeling as well as building them from scratch, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with competing deadlines
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a moderate degree of autonomy

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $79,789.00 - $134,521.77 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
