As our Finance Manager - Procurement, you’ll be at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and operations—leading efforts to optimize costs, improve performance, and unlock value across packaging, ingredients, spare parts, capital, services, and more. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, cross-functional team experience, and be results-focused with minimal direct supervision. The Finance Manager must be able to effectively interact, collaborate, and communicate across multiple functions in the organization and cooperate and build consensus to drive results. The position will plan, prioritize, and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities to support and guide timely and sound decision-making. The role will provide opportunities to deal with operational complexities and support strategic decisions

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Provide financial analysis and insight to all spend managed by the procurement teams.

  • Identify and bring forward issues and areas of opportunity to provide visibility to trends on a proactive basis, and lead analysis, driving improvements.

  • Lead the annual budget process, forecasting of savings initiatives, and later analysis of achievements.

  • Enable proficiency in managing and making recommendations for efficiencies with systems and tools, such as SAP and supporting applications.

  • Compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley internal reporting requirements.

2. Reporting & Analytics:

  • Establish and enhance tracking models to provide visibility to spending objectives.

  • Ensure and validate the understanding and consistent application of cost savings calculations and methodologies.

  • Ad-hoc analysis, modeling, and other tasks as assigned.

3. Continuous Improvement:

  • Represent and lead in various finance-wide projects, optimizations, and continuous improvement projects.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to communicate financial insights and drive operational improvements.

  • Champion financial best practices and process enhancements across planning, reporting, and analysis.

4. Leadership: 

  • Drives a positive employee experience through leadership by way of employee development and coaching.

  • Provide financial clarity on where various costs will be expensed on the Profit and Loss Statement for stakeholders across the finance and non-finance communities.

  • Provide financial training on a monthly/quarterly basis to new and existing employees within the Procurement team.

WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and 5+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management, required

  • Prior Accounting/GAAP knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and business intelligence tools

  • Strong process improvement and change management skills

  • Ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data, draw conclusions, and communicate to senior leadership in a professional manner

  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment

OTHER SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

  • Experience in CPG industry is a plus
