Purpose

  • The Finance Manager will serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing financial operations, analysis, and strategic decision support for one of Reece USA’s largest divisions. This individual will lead financial planning processes, drive business performance insights, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise, leadership capability, and proven experience in a multi-location or distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all divisional financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Partner closely with divisional and branch leadership to drive business performance, identify growth opportunities, and improve profitability.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making across operations, sales, and corporate functions.
  • Oversee preparation and analysis of monthly financial results, performance dashboards, and KPI reports, highlighting key trends and variances.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize tools such as Power BI, Adaptive, and Workday to extract, analyze, and communicate data-driven insights effectively.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate business scenarios, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting, forecasting, and financial communication.
  • Serve as the primary financial liaison for the division, representing finance in leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions.
  • Own and manage the commission process for the division, including calculation, validation, reporting, and continuous process improvement to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Drive process improvement and enhance financial visibility across branch networks.

Key Competencies and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum Minimum 4–5 years of relevant finance experience, ideally within a large, multi-location, or distribution-focused organization.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Adaptive, and Workday preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, strategic mindset.
