LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Princes Exchange
HOURS: Full Time, 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least
two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

Day to day responsibilities
These include and aren’t limited to:-
Supporting colleagues with the reconciliation of bank and general ledger accounts.
Authorising journals for processing in core Finance systems.
Managing deliverables for the team to ensure allocated and completed in a timely manner to a high quality.
Ensuring service levels are met and tasks are completed on time and to our high standards with suppliers paid quickly.
Lead on change initiatives to ensure I&E continues to deliver excellent service to our customers.
Drive improvements to our processes.
Lead by example on utilising new technology and upskilling on skills for the future.
What you’ll need
Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) with strong financial and analytical expertise with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring reconciliations and journal authorisations are accurate and compliant.
Effective time management and organisational skills, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of service for colleagues and suppliers.
Proactive leadership and collaboration, inspiring the team, fostering a positive culture, and working closely with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Customer-focused mindset, committed to delivering excellent service and handling ad hoc requests with professionalism and care.
Change and improvement orientation, driving process enhancements and championing initiatives that deliver efficiency and innovation.
Tech-savvy and future-ready, embracing new technologies, upskilling continuously, and encouraging others to develop skills for the future.
