The successful candidate for this position will report into the Senior Manager, GTS – ETS Allocations, Finance.  This role will be part of a team that provides a range of strategic financial advice, analysis and support related to ETS allocations and the business areas supported. The team proactively manages senior relationships in order to provide seasoned and deep business insights, decision support and guidance and work closely with various stakeholders and team members as required.  They will act as a subject matter expert for GTS and provide advice and recommendations to support dealings with GTS partners as well as the Business Segment partners.

Specifically, the Manager will be responsible for:

Financial/Strategic Oversight:

  • Proactive value-added expertise and guidance supporting ETS allocations and the GTS technology teams and their finance counterparts

  • Being a leader in Financial planning, analysis, performance measurement and reporting for ETS allocations within GTS

  • Supporting the allocation of costs across the segments

  • Support and liaise with the GTS consolidations team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Provide insightful and relevant commentary to Senior Management on business results, forecast and Plan

  • Be responsible to identify financial opportunities, conduct the necessary analysis to develop options and offer well supported recommendations to senior management.  This includes strong written and in-person presentation skills

  • Proactively identify issues and recommend actions to senior management

  • Provide leadership and support to the ETS allocations team, fostering a positive and rewarding work environment

  • Work with senior management and lead in the development / implementation of new financial models, methodologies to support the business in understanding the financial impact of their decisions

  • Provide value-added financial analysis and advisory support to business partners to develop and execute strategic plans and goals or respond to ad hoc requests for business analysis

Skills, Education & Experience

  • Excellent analytical, logical, and organizational skills are required - able to provide clear and concise summaries of relevant data, observations and recommendations to management (turns complexity into simplicity)

  • Ability to work through ambiguity

  • Expertise working effectively in teams

  • Ability to lead and manage change

  • Organizational awareness and the ability to balance the viewpoints of Finance and the business units

  • Ability to negotiate, problem solve, and make decisions

  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment

  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo

  • Knowledge of the Bank's financial reporting systems (e.g. Hyperion, FRS, PSGL), MS Office and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx).

  • Knowledge of the Bank's technology reporting systems (e.g., Apptio, Clarity) would be an asset

  • 7+ years of relevant experience preferred

  • Undergraduate degree required; Professional designation (MBA, CFA, or CPA) p
