About the role:

   Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the Finance Manager is responsible for assisting the Department Head in the administration of all financial aspects of the hotel's operation, supervising the day-to-day operation of Accounting team and ensuring all local and corporate policies and procedures are observed.

What you will do:

  • Thoroughly understand and possess a working knowledge of the Accounting & Finance Manual.
  • Manage financial aspects of the operation including forecasting, labor and budgeting.
  • Review monthly report and supervise account reconciliations.
  • Assist in labour forecasting and budgeting plans, including administrative functions and preparation of reports.
  • Support the Division Head on safeguarding the hotel assets and financial resources contributing towards maximizing hotel profitability.
  • Provides timely and accurate financial information and counsel to hotel management (and ownership) and ensures that the hotel operates within all related local and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Have a strong cost controlling mindset, with action orientated to introduce initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Nurture and develop a dynamic and result orientated Accounting team.

What you bring:

  • University graduate with major in Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar role
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese 
  • Has strong analytical, problem solving, planning, organizing and influencing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a internal and external stakeholders
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities, and to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork.

Schedule & hours:

  • 5-Days work
  • The ideal candidate will have open availability and be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
