About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Manager – Corporate Finance to join our team. This role is responsible for leading core financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, and cost optimization, while helping modernize how financial data is structured, reported, and leveraged across the organization.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with three days on‑site and two days remote. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our corporate office in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego, CA.

Core Corporate Finance

• Lead budgeting and forecasting across corporate and operational entities
• Prepare executive and board-level reporting with clear financial insights
• Perform variance analysis and communicate key performance drivers
• Identify cost-saving and operational efficiency opportunities

Reporting, Analytics, and Insights

• Deliver high-quality, timely executive reporting
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics tools such as Power BI
• Improve accuracy, consistency, and scalability of financial reporting
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership

Process Improvement and Modernization

• Automate manual finance workflows and improve data integration
• Enhance data structures to support reliable, scalable reporting
• Support advanced analytics, automation, and early-stage AI initiatives
• Help transition finance from reactive reporting to proactive analysis

What We're Looking For

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or related field
• Strong FP&A or corporate finance experience (real estate experience preferred)
• Proven ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting processes
• Experience supporting strategic planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation
• Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$120,900.00 - $139,100.00

This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:

* Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price. Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
