Due to exciting growth across our organisation, we are searching for an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial accounting operations, support strategic decision-making and ensure strong governance and compliance across the organisation. This role is responsible for managing the month-end process, overseeing financial accounting teams, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and coordinating audit and taxation activities.
About the Role
Lead the Financial Accounting and Accounts Payable teams, driving efficient Procure-to-Pay and general ledger processes across a large multi-site organisation.
Manage the month-end close and financial reporting, delivering accurate P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and variance reporting.
Prepare annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards including lease accounting.
Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards including lease accounting.
Oversee corporate tax compliance including GST, FBT, tax provisions and deferred tax reporting.
Act as the key contact for external audits, impairment testing and government grant reporting.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
CPA or CA qualification (mandatory).
Proven experience in a middle-management finance role with direct reports.
Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
Proficient in using large ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Experience in multi-site organisations (such as childcare, retail, healthcare or similar sectors) will be highly regarded.
