Lead finance activities for Lankhorst business and provide high class finance service internally and to local authorities.
Ensure the right level of financial reports, financial processes and control environment at Lankhorst.
Plan, monitor and analyse the company financial data to provide management with a good understanding of the financial and operational performances of Lankhorst and provide financial guidance to help the business reach its objectives.
Accountabilities
- Leads the local Finance team and develops the team’s skills. Manages workload optimally within the team and coordinates with BME’s Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Credit departments on tasks to be completed.
- Responsible for the day-to-day financial activities of Lankhorst group, driving to achieve best practice culture that delivers company financial targets in line with Brunswick accounting policies as well as statutory requirements.
- Leads the budgeting and financial planning activities of the business in close collaboration with Mercury EMEA finance team.
- Develops a solid understanding of the markets in which the Company operates and has an in-depth knowledge of the financial dynamics of the business to provide financial guidance enabling the management team to execute the Company’s strategy. Develops financial strategies and plans to identify short-term and long-term opportunities across the company.
- Reviews, evaluates, develops, implements, maintains and verifies internal and business controls for processes, systems and financial statements in accordance with SOX, company policy and other applicable legislation.
- Ensures Credit is managed in line with the division & company’s targets and rules. Manages cash collection and DSO to the best interest of Brunswick.
- Leads (financial) projects aimed at improving processes.
Skills & Knowledge
- Accounting/Financial degree
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in accounting, controlling or audit.
- Experience in an international environment is preferred with a proven ability to lead a team.
- Analytical minded and attention to detail
- Result and Customer oriented
- Team player and collaboration within matrix organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to deal with confidential matters
- Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
- Coach and develop the team

- Fluent in Dutch and English. German is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office
Our offer
This exciting position is a Global Grade 14 and offers a salary of between €96,000 and €112,500 (payable in 12.96 instalments). Please be aware that this range represents the pay range for all positions within the job grade in which the post falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location (country). We also offer the following benefits:
