Salary: A competitive salary from £57,600 - £86,400 depending on the experience you can bring

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Data Operations Manager to join our Finance Data Management team. Reporting to the Head of Data Management the Finance Data Operations Manager will play a vital role in in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of financial information for decision-making, reporting, and compliance purposes. The team collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including finance, risk, IT, and other departments, to establish robust data governance processes and optimise data management practices.

As the Finance Data Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial data management and operations within the function. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of financial data, as well as driving process improvements and operational efficiencies. You will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Having accountability for the Finance Data management BAU cycle, ensuring all deliverables are completed to time and to standard.  Role holder is accountable for the monitoring and reporting of all Finance Data Warehouse flows, with demonstrable compliance with our Data Policies

  • Managing the Finance Data Management controls framework, ensuring full compliance with SOx and Audit expectations

  • Ownership of documentation for key data processes, ensuring these are subject to regular baselining and continuous improvement

  • Coaching and leadership of a team of Finance Data Analysts

  • Supporting the Head of Finance Data Management in setting and executing the strategy for future data developments

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Excellence in communication / interpersonal skills

  • Sound awareness of finance risk frameworks (e.g., SOx, RCSA and Business Continuity)

  • Demonstrable planning and organisation skills with excellent attention to detail with background in review and testing

  • Expert in the data lifecycle and quality standards

  • Good technical knowledge of products and services
