About the Role

As the Finance Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor to the Oceania organization, driving value creation and supporting sustainable growth. Based in Sydney, Australia, you will lead the development and delivery of robust forecasting frameworks, provide high-level guidance and training to business partners, and ensure the quality and integrity of financial tracking to achieve organizational objectives.

What you will do:

  • Management Reporting & Analytics: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all monthly management reporting and regional performance reviews, providing insightful commentary to support strategic decision-making. Champion automation and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Demonstrate deep understanding of stakeholder needs, actively engage with above-country stakeholders, and drive performance discussions to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting: Support all financial forecasting processes, ensure data integrity, and oversee OPEX management and tracking.
  • Financial Governance & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to accounting standards and provide expert financial support during brand planning processes.
  • Strategic Projects & Business Cases: Provide robust financial input into business cases and strategic initiatives, supporting sound investment decisions.
  • Digital Innovation & AI Enablement: Champion the adoption of AI and automation in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What we’re seeking in you:

  • Relevant professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, etc.).
  • ~5 years experience in similar Finance Business Partner positions; multi-national matrix company and pharmaceutical sector experience desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in digital analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) and openness to learning AI-powered platforms.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a small team environment.
