We’re looking for a strategic and analytical finance leader who can influence key business decisions—someone passionate about business partnering and delivering meaningful financial insights. As we see the world differently and do things differently, we need someone who can challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership to elevate our decision‑making.

You will be the right-hand person to the DACH Hub Leader and Head of FP&A, a sparring partner to drive the business forward to achieve the seemingly impossible!

Responsibilities:

 

  • Be a true partner to our DACH business - bringing your personality, living our LSB values, and building trusted relationships across Sales, Brand, and regional leadership teams.
  • Own the financial rhythm of the region, leading monthly/quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and the month‑end P&L close while providing clear visibility through insightful weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Shape smarter, faster decision‑making by creating tools that enhance financial clarity, challenging assumptions within the S&OP cycle, and delivering strategic, actionable recommendations that drive profitable growth.
  • Guide investment and commercial choices through credible financial modelling, trade and brand spend oversight, ROI analysis, and ensuring spending aligns with budget expectations - no surprises, just strong fundamentals.
  • Continuously improve how the region performs, championing process enhancements, boosting forecast accuracy, assessing risks and opportunities, and upholding robust internal controls in partnership with FP&A and the wider LSB Finance team.
     

Experience you’ll bring:

  • A strong financial foundation as a qualified accountant (5+ years PQE), with commercial finance or FP&A experience and a track record of owning forecasting and other core financial processes. FMCG exposure is a plus.
  • Clear, confident communication in both German and English, with the ability to translate complex financial information into simple, compelling insights for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Influential cross‑functional partnership, embedding financial understanding across the business, shaping decisions, and building high-impact relationships that drive momentum and change.
  • Sharp commercial and financial acumen, knowing exactly which P&L levers to pull to drive performance, backed by a hands-on mindset for simplifying and improving processes.
  • Technical and systems confidence, especially with Excel (expert-level), and ideally SAP and Anaplan experience.
