Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your financial, analytical and system support skills in the Consumer Goods environment?  If so, this could be the role you are looking for.

As a Finance Analyst, will be part of the Indochina Consumer Healthcare (Cx) Business Unit.  You will work with the IDC commercial business units as well as other functions to address the requirements for financial analysis for strategic and business planning, budgeting, reporting as well as other key project involvement like Go-To-Market project, business model transition. This role reports directly to Finance Director.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Commercial Finance:

Assist Commercial Team (CD, Trade Marketing, and Marketing) in developing and evaluating their promotions, pricing and trade terms plans for decision making. Review STP proposed by commercial team before route to FD approval.

Drive post-promotion evaluation (NPD, ROI on promotion.), distilling the key learning and driving improved ROI.

Control and monitor the spending of A&P and G2N by brands and channels with Commercial team.

Analyze and manage company cash flow (debtors, stock, payment term) by optimizing inventory in distribution and working with distributor to achieve Neutral Working Capital (NOC). Improvement/ simplify AR WoW with Distributor

Work with other functions (especially Legal and Tax) to prepare supplier, customer’s contracts aligned with company strategy and legal requirements.

Develop and perform business cases to support commercial decision making and present the business case to GM and ILT for decision making.

Drive and perform channel P&L review meeting to improve investment efficiency and support on channel investment strategy. 

Drive Net Revenue Management project for cost optimization and investment efficiency including field force efficiency with commercial team.

Develop and perform pricing for each product to assist Marketing or Commercial for decision making. Perform the DAV price registration for finance part.

Lead for TIMF (Trade Spend Management) in CERP and monitor G2N efficiency with reconciliation.

Closely partnership with Distributor to monitor distributor’s activities.

Provide guidance to stakeholders on financial aspects and way of working to comply with tax and local pharma laws especially trade investment.

Support on Finance LSOP or process guidance to commercial team if any.

Support for other business projects.

Operation Finance:

Partnership with C&C and P&F Finance service in KL for month end closing, forecasting and planning, balance sheet management and other financial matter investigation.

Support MPR/Plan deck with more business insight and analysis.

Key role player in Core Commercial Cycle (pre-DRM, DRM)

P&L budget control

Support on Transfer Price process and TP document

In charge for related to ICFW control (Finance control) and other internal control.

Support internal and external audit.

Support Tax and Statutory reports.

Other ad-hoc task assigned by FD.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • University degree at Business/Accounting/Economics and any professional finance certification (ACCA, CIMA) is preferred. 

  • Vietnam Chief Accountant certificated is an added value

  • Must be good in local Tax and Statutory knowledge 

  • At least 5 years’ experiences in similar Finance position in a FMCG industry.

  • Good English Written and Spoken Communication skills.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

  • Experienced in using SAP/TSM/Bison 

  • Relevant FMCG / OTC experience will be added advantage.

  • Proactive and self-motivated and capable of working in a complex and challenging environment including hard work.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.

Competencies:

  • Having knowledge about Vietnamese tax law and accounting standard, pharma law knowledge is an advantage. 

  • Drive for results through an understanding of the dynamics of the market, and how to exploit trading opportunities through innovative thinking.

  • Strong business and customer focus. Ability to create a business plan which brings together commercial and cross functional elements in a manner which is clear and practical to implement.

  • Work well under pressure and can deal effectively with ambiguity.
    Leadership – Engage and motivate people to take action.
    Demonstrated problem solving skills and flexibility, to drive excellent performance.
    Proven ability to successfully deliver on projects.
