Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee month‑end close activities for the Houston Depot Joint Venture, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost allocation, and compliance with joint venture accounting requirements

  • Maintain strong financial controls and governance in line with Maersk policies, accounting standards, and JV frameworks

  • Lead forecasting and budgeting processes, translating operational inputs into clear financial outlooks and performance narratives

  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities, and improvement levers

  • Act as the primary finance business partner to depot leadership, providing financial guidance on pricing, investments, operational initiatives, and cost optimisation

  • Partner closely with Accounting, Operations, Procurement, and Global Service Center teams to ensure alignment and effective financial processes

  • Support audits, governance activities, and JV‑related financial reviews, while contributing to finance projects and process improvements

What We Are Looking For

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA is an advantage

  • 5–7+ years of experience across Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or operational finance roles

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and operational performance drivers, ideally within logistics, depot operations, asset‑heavy, or similar environments

  • Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and influence stakeholders across functions and geographies

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and BI tools; SAP experience is preferred

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $160,000 - $170,000 USD*

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors, such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
