As a key member of the SG&A Finance team, the Finance Business Partner acts as a change agent and contributes to expense control in achieving financial objectives. As a true business partner, the role takes a proactive, solution‑oriented approach by providing insightful financial recommendations to support informed decision‑making across the business. The role involves working closely with cost center owners to support them in monitoring and managing their respective expenses.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:
Support operational leaders in evaluating their needs, identifying risks and opportunities, and assessing the financial impact of their decisions
Present financial results to operational leaders and obtain explanations for observed variances
Act as a strategic financial advisor by proactively providing recommendations to improve financial performance and cost management
Analyze budget variances and prepare financial analyses
Participate in forecasting and annual budgeting processes for expenses related to assigned cost centers
Develop financial tools that effectively support budgeting processes, complementary to data and reports produced by the SAP system
Assist management with various ad‑hoc assignments and projects
The level of rigor expected:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
CPA designation (an asset)
3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Ability to formulate recommendations and propose solutions
Excellent communication skills, French and English, including presentations to senior management
Strong knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables); Power Query and macros are assets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong team spirit and excellent cross‑functional collaboration
