FINANCE- PARTNER SERVICES
The Bain Capital Partner Services Group provides Partners and internal investors with confidential, professional services including consolidating financial information; identifying personal investment opportunities; performance reporting of personal investments; loan program management; philanthropic services and managing various other personal services. The Partner Services Group is also the main point of contact for third party family office service providers and vendors. Members of the team regularly collaborate with members of nearly every internal department in the firm, including investment professionals, other internal finance departments, tax, legal, HR, compliance and IT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the following tasks:
· Preparation of the Partner consolidated financial reporting package
· Day to day responsibility and management of all credit facility processing and compliance
· Reconciliation, summary and set-up of accounts for IRA’s, philanthropic and credit purposes
· Seek efficiencies and recommend enhancements to existing reporting and processing functions
· Perform several ad-hoc services such as mortgage underwriting assistance, bank/brokerage account opening and ancillary service provider recommendations
· Collaboration with team members on new initiatives and services
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
· New graduate -2 years of finance, operations or family office experience
· Proficient in MS Office; particularly in Excel
· Familiarity within the financial service industry with a general understanding of investments
· Demonstrated project management skills and excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with diligent attention to detail
· Creative problem-solving ability and sound judgment – ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for decisions
· Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels
· Capability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
DESIRED EDUCATION
· Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Management
Compensation:
Expected Annual Base Salary $70,000 – 75,000
Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
