This is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to join a rapidly scaling deep tech startup and gain hands-on experience across finance, operations, and supply chain all under one roof. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll support a wide variety of functions from keeping our procurement engine running smoothly to ensuring our legal and regulatory obligations are met with accuracy and care. The breadth of this role creates real pathways into finance, accounting, operations, or supply chain for someone who is self-motivated and intellectually curious.
Responsibilities:
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Manage supplier relationships in close partnership with engineering — engineers own vendor selection and specifications; you own everything that comes after
Maintain accurate inventory counts of powder and consumables, and provide proactive guidance on reorder timing
Maintain thorough purchasing records and supplier documentation
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
Support the VP of Finance with ad hoc operational and administrative tasks
Manage state tax and entity filings, ensuring deadlines are met and records are accurate
Maintain accurate records with state and federal agencies
Assist with financial recordkeeping and documentation to support audits, reporting, and compliance
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, supply chain, or a related field
1+ years of experience in procurement, finance, operations, or similar (internship or post-graduation experience are both acceptable)
Proficiency in excel and document management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in AR or AP
Familiarity with ERP or procurement software
Experience with state or federal regulatory filings
Exposure to startup or manufacturing environments
A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with a bias towards action
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
As an early-stage startup, the salary range is intentionally wide as we determine the most appropriate package for each individual taking into consideration years of experience, educational background, and unique skills and abilities as demonstrated throughout the interview process. Our intent is to offer a salary that is commensurate for the company’s current stage of development and allows the employee to grow and develop within a role.
In addition to the significant stock option package, the estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 – $85,000. The upper end of the range is reserved for individuals who demonstrate exceptional experience, deep domain mastery, and a proven history of high performance and impact.
