About the role

As our Finance and Administration Officer, your primary responsibility will be managing Accounts Payable and Supplier Payments with accuracy and timeliness; however, you will also be required to support the Accounts Receivable function.

You’ll support the finance team in maintaining data integrity, compliance, and efficient financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial processes and upholding the One Elders values.


Responsibilities

As an Finance and Administration Officer, you will:

  • Maintaining bank balances in daily cash flow forecast.
  • Domestic billing data entry and three-way match to Purchase Orders using CAAPS & NetSuite software.
  • Review import documents and data entry of multi-currency Billing in NetSuite.
  • Process domestic and foreign currency Supplier payments using NetSuite, NAB, and ANZ platforms, ensuring compliance with approval workflows and banking deadlines.
  • Ensure digital files are attached to Supplier bills and records in NetSuite.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including Suppliers, Banks and Team Members when required to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of Bills.
  • Provide support for sales invoicing, overdue invoices and customer remittances as needed.
  • Assist with supplier trading agreements, production work order entry, inventory building, and sales order reconciliation as required.
  • Process general journals and assist with audits, stocktake reconciliation, and other finance tasks as required.

About you

To succeed at Elders, you have:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the agricultural industry
  • Confidence managing foreign currency transactions and inventory-related financial processes
  • Proficiency in financial systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and financial integrity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies
