Finance and Accounting Manager

Overview of the Job

We are looking for an Accounting and Finance Manager to lead Sertis’ combined accounting and finance operations. This role goes beyond core accounting to also own treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and broader finance operations, making sure cash, controls, and reporting all run smoothly. Reporting directly to the C-level, you will coach a small team of accounting and finance staff, partner with business units across Sertis, and play a central role in scaling our finance function as the company grows. 

 

In this role, you will get to:

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in line with TFRS
• Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including vendor payments, customer collections, aging analysis, and credit control
• Lead treasury and cash management activities, including daily cash positioning, bank relationship management, FX exposure monitoring, and short-term liquidity planning
• Ensure full compliance with Thai tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax) and oversee timely filings and submissions
• Manage the annual external audit and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and regulators
• Develop, document, and continuously improve accounting and finance policies, internal controls, and SOPs across the end-to-end finance operations
• Partner with FP&A, project managers, and business units to align financial operations with commercial activity and improve working capital
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes, including driving better use, configuration, and module adoption of Odoo across accounting, AP, AR, and treasury
• Support strategic initiatives such as funding rounds, banking facilities, and corporate transactions as needed
• Support and coach a team accounting and finance staff across general ledger, AP, AR, and treasury functions.

 

You’ll Be Successful If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a plus, and an MBA, CFA, or further professional certification is a strong plus
• At least 5 years of experience across accounting and finance operations, with at least 1 year in a managerial or team-lead capacity; experience in the tech, services, or consulting industry is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of TFRS, Thai tax law, and statutory reporting; combined exposure to AP, AR, and treasury is essential
• Proven experience leading end-to-end close cycles, managing external audits, and overseeing cash and working capital
• Hands-on experiences with Odoo (ERP and accounting system) is highly preferred; equivalent experience with other ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) combined with willingness to ramp up on Odoo will also be considered
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas) for analysis, reconciliation, and cash forecasting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement mindset, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong in English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
