The Finance Department is responsible for supporting the Riyadh Branch.  Key responsibilities covered by the team are

  • Prudential reporting to external regulator (Saudi Arabia Monetary Authority (SAMA)).
  • Interaction with tax authorities and tax reporting in KSA.
  • Tax risk assessment and advisory (in cooperation with Head of Tax EMEA) across matters such as VAT, corporation tax, WHT, PE risk, etc.
  • Head Office reporting for JGAAP & USGAAP.
  • Processing all invoices & expense payments.
  • Managerial reporting for revenues and expenses.
  • Budgets and forecasting – Mid Term Business Plan (MTBP) as well as annual budgets, as well as on-going expense management and control
  • Finance related advisory to the business

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

To support the Head of Finance with day to day operations & Financial reporting requirements of Riyadh Branch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions*:

  • Control the expense process and fixed assets, including GL input into T24 and Excel GL.
  • Process all invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure all payments leaving the Bank have the necessary authorizations obtained.
  • Work closely with Dubai Finance team in all Finance related matters and ensure timely coordination/communication/escalation with/to respective colleagues in Dubai Finance.
  • Work together with other Departments/teams to apply annual expense budget, annual system related budget, and other budgets. 
  • Monitor the actual amount of expenses and implement measures for proper control of expense
  • Support preparation of management reporting and KPI monitoring.
  • Control of accruals and prepayments
  • Fully manage and own the RINGI process end to end within KSA ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with monthly closing of accounts and annual Statutory audit process.
  • Prepare/support preparation of reporting to Tokyo Head Office and the relevant Regulators ( SAMA, and ZATCA) and assistance in the development of the required reporting, control framework and planning schedule.
  • Assist in defining reporting requirements and procedures.
  • Assist in establishing a strong control framework to ensure that all reporting requirements are undertaken on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Prepare and analyse the bank’s financial data and communicate this data to FP management and compile reporting packs upon request.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, drafting and monitoring of Finance policies, procedures and internal control systems.
  • Deal with ad-hoc duties such as filing, processing and preparation of journals, system-testing and ad-hoc project work as required or requested by the Head of Department.
  • Act as Culture carrier for the Bank in leading by example and with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years’ previous experience in a similar role within a multi-national Bank in the Middle East.
