Job Description Summary

We are looking for a new Finance Analyst to join our team in Herlev, Denmark. This is an on-site position, as close collaboration with the organization is essential.

You will be responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

The role requires an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and the ability to use this knowledge to accomplish your own work. You will also need a strong understanding of how your team’s work integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall success of the area.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for balance sheet reviews

  • Critical part of month/quarter-end closing - Including allocation, cross charges and accruals

  • Go to person for CoE teams globally

  • Responsible for operating accounts throughout the month

  • Monitoring cost center spending and follow-up with department managers

  • Monitoring of project spending for R&D

  • Finance responsible for purchasing system - Including support for the local organization

  • Finance responsible for Leasing and fixed assets systems and accounting

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ work experience and proven track record working in a finance department

  • Relevant educational background

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and particularly Excel.

  • Strong technical and analytical background, preferably from a global company
