Job Description:
You will be part of the Global Fixed Assets team responsible for providing rapid and high-quality financial information. This position will perform the day-to-day activities associated with fixed assets. Duties include: recording, reconciling and auditing all assets, depreciation, disposal and construction in progress accounts.
- Process daily fixed assets transactions / activities (capitalization, retirement, and adjustment, transfer of assets between different legal entities within the group & dispatch asset tags) accurately in fixed assets ledgers.
- Work with other departments to ensure timely communication of documents related to the acquisition and disposition of fixed assets.
- Run depreciation and close fixed assets module for worldwide entities.
- Assist in the monthly reconciliations between fixed assets sub ledger to General ledger.
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which is designed in accordance with SOX process.
- Assist in identification of process improvements and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and more than two years of experience in general accounting or auditing.
- Knowledge of Oracle financial accounting system, Excel skills and ability to learn and use applications.
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate clearly, timely and accurately.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as work independently in a time sensitive environment.
- Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change and ability to meet deadlines and execute on commitments.
