We have an opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join their team of staff in the Financial Control department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • You produce daily group cash flow reports, analysis and commentary
  • You assist with the production of timely and accurate bank reconciliations for more than 20 bank accounts
  • You assist with monitoring and reconciling the bank accounts on an on-going basis throughout the month
  • You analyse and code consolidated supplier invoices accurately across the hospital group
  • You produce management information reports in line with the group reporting timetable
  • You deliver timely and accurate information to enable the production of the group management accounts.
  • You provide support for month end deadlines and quarter end completeness, specifically around hospital accruals and prepayments.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience of working in a similar finance role
  • Experience and proven ability of working to set deadlines
  • Experience of multi-site or otherwise distributed working environments
  • Able to build good interpersonal relationships across a range of stakeholders both internal and external
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly appraise complex situations and to identify key issues.
  • Strong technology skills including experience with a financial system (e.g. Sage, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Studying towards a professional qualification would be advantageous (AAT/CIMA/ACCA)
