Finance Analyst

Develop templates and financial reports by PBU (Product Business Unit) with the purpose of providing local and divisional information related to the expenses incurred in the Mexico Region that specifically affect each PBU.

Your Role

• Check and analyze financial information and prepare complex financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flow, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings.
• Perform complex accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that they comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
• Reconcile complex accounts and check the accuracy of journal entries to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and complete
• Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
• Coach less experienced accounting staff and help them resolve problems.

Your Background

• Certified Accountant, Business Administration with Finance specialty or similar career
• An analytical mind with strong math skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Communication and interpersonal habilites
• 3-5 years’ experience as Finance Analyst or similar position
• Experience in automotive industry
• SAP strong experience
• Microsoft Office strong knowledge
• Business English speaking
