Finance Advice Expert IV – Global Transformation & Change

The Global Transformation & Change Finance team financially oversees and supports global transformation initiatives. It advises both the Group COO/CTO as well as the Transformation Lead Committee as well as MBB on the performance of the global transformation, both on programme and portfolio level.

We are looking for a skilled and driven strategic finance professional to help provide financial control and strategic advice on ING’s transformation portfolio. You will operate in the transformation domain with key stakeholders across the entire bank. This will require the ability to challenge and connect at various levels within the organization. Your work will directly impact senior executive management, enabling strategic and tactical decision making.

The team

The COO and CTO Finance team aims to support the Global COO/CTO organization to make robust business decisions based on our analysis and advices. The COO/CTO organization is at the core of delivering our strategy to build a leading digital bank. As approximately 40% of the cost base in ING is in our Tech and Operations this means you can truly make a difference. The COO and CTO Finance team is a small department, which will allow you to get exposure to senior managers of COO/CTO. We think every day about how we can do things smarter, so we can spend our time on where we make the most impact: advising the business.

Responsibilities

  • Sparring partner for senior management in strategic and tactical decision making
  • Provide reports and analysis in a timely manner to support management decisions
  • Supports building and advice on investments/business cases facilitating decision making at Investment Committee level.
  • Experience with complex financial modelling and forecasting is essential.
  • Leading projects assigned to the Global Transformation & Change Finance team.

How to succeed

  • University (Bachelor’s/Master’s) degree
  • At least 3+ years of professional working experience in a relevant position such as Finance Business Partner, Business controller, or comparable
  • Knowledge of banking operations and operational excellence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of management
  • Being pro-active and curious will help you to be successful in this dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in the English (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Track record in a complex environment
