We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join a team responsible for the provision of the full lifecycle of financial services administration to designated Pension Scheme Clients in line with service level agreements and in accordance with legislation, policy conditions, business rules and procedures and within the regulatory framework.

You will have previous finance administration experience and you will ideally be studying for or in possession of a finance qualification.

Job Description:

Key Tasks:

  • Support the team on complex casework, high value cases and complaints.
  • Support immediate team and wider team or business areas with detailed reconciliation and remediation work.
  • Be available to answer stakeholder queries within the agreed SLA targets across multiple communication channels
  • Adapt to varying demands and workloads with a commitment to ensure tasks are completed to deadline whilst maintaining excellent levels of quality.
  • Understand the importance and deliver against individual objectives and to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and business results.
  • Work within set Key Performance Indicators and quality standards.
  • Complete all tasks using current work procedures and best practice.
  • Create and maintain consistent and accurate scheme records and events.
  • Identify complaints at the earliest opportunity, take ownership of the problem, escalate where appropriate, and undertake Root Cause Analysis.
  • Understand the importance of Continuous Improvement and be able to collate and interpret data to seek opportunities both inside and outside the team to improve the customer experience, challenging current processes.
  • Participate in and promote good team communication and share knowledge and expertise with other team members

What are we looking for:

  • Previous finance administration experience
  • Studying towards or in possession of a finance qualification
  • Enthusiasm and determination to deliver an outstanding level of customer service at all times
  • Ability to meet and work to deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • An excellent eye for detail with good written communication skills, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office and Outlook is essential with fast and accurate keyboard skills
  • A self-starter, able to manage your own workload but also work well as part of a team
