Pay Range

$25.04 – $29.61/hour (placement on salary range as per Collective Agreement)


 


 

This is a Temporary Full-Time role with a contract ending on September 11, 2026.

What is the job?

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full cycle processing of accounts payable, assisting with the reconciliation and remittance of subcontractor payments and coordinating with property management to address building maintenance items. This position will provide support to the finance team including ad hoc finance functions and special projects as needed.

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Process invoices for payment in accordance to the company’s policy, and coding to the general ledger. 
  • Provide support to Financial Analyst in completing month end bank reconciliations by entering all invoices needed for month end closing
  • Participate in team meetings proactively identifying areas for improvement. 
  • Coordinates with property management
  • Provide support to the finance team including ad hoc finance functions and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a finance or administrative role, preferably within a property management or construction environment. 
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounts payable processing
  • Familiarity with coordinating building maintenance issues and liaising with property management teams. 
  • Demonstrated ability to support finance teams with ad hoc tasks and special projects. 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and financial systems or ERP platforms.
  • Additional certifications in financial software or accounting principles (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or CPA coursework) are considered an asset. 
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new processes, systems and tools
