About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance & Accounting Coordinator.


In this role, you will:

  • Support less experienced staff to drive overall effectiveness of team in preparing data and assisting in research on product line, operational, and strategic planning
  • Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools
  • Perform complex operational tasks, assist with research of financial, operating and economic data analyses testing, resolution of problems
  • Apply understanding of risk management requirements and compliance for finance area
  • Provide interpretation of procedures to less experienced staff
  • Escalate non-routine questions to more experienced management
  • Interact with Finance team, functional area and business partners on a wide range of information


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Finance support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Epro).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Accounts Payable is part of the Procure to Pay function under supply chain management Wells Fargo India and enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting over half of Wells Fargo's business lines and staff functions across Technology, Business Services, Risk Services and Knowledge Services.


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounting Coordinator to support our Supply Chain Management (SCM) function. The ideal candidate will assist in invoice verification, exception handling, and accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing & Verification
    • Review and verify supplier invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with purchase orders and contracts.
    • Identify and resolve invoice exceptions and discrepancies in coordination with procurement and vendor teams.
  • Accounts Payable Operations
    • Process payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and maintain up-to-date records of transactions.
    • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Liaise with internal departments (procurement, logistics, finance) to resolve payment issues.
    • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and invoice queries.
  • System & Reporting Support
    • Enter and manage data in ERP/accounting systems.
    • Assist in generating reports for financial analysis and audits.
