Due to increased activity and business growth, we are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Service & Repair team. Our department is dedicated to providing world‑class, international customer service and ensuring the reliable performance of Flowserve equipment in demanding industrial environments.
Role Summary:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of Flowserve valves and related equipment. You will support customers across a variety of industries, including oil & gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and wastewater.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will provide real-time technical support, recommend repairs or upgrades, and implement effective solutions on site. You will work independently and collaboratively, representing Flowserve’s commitment to quality, safety, and service excellence.

Your Role:
Perform on-site service visits in response to customer requests
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement timely, effective solutions
Work closely with customer personnel and lead work crews when required
Manage the full repair cycle, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and reassembly
Install equipment safely and ensure completion according to schedule
Inspect equipment prior to start-up and evaluate performance during commissioning
Monitor equipment performance and maintenance needs
Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of Flowserve products
Collaborate with internal teams, including repair centers, customer service, and sales engineering
Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation, including daily reports, job records, and time and material tracking
Perform additional duties as assigned
Your Profile:
Relevant professional certifications
3–5 years of experience in a comparable field service or maintenance role
Strong knowledge of industrial valve applications, actuators, and mechanical equipment
Hands-on experience overhauling control valves, isolation valves, and actuators
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Willingness to travel extensively within France and occasionally to other European countries
Flexibility to work overtime to minimize customer downtime
Physically capable of performing demanding work, including lifting up to 25 kg, climbing ladders and stairs, and working around large equipment in outdoor environments year-round
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Fluent in both French and English
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
