Position Summary

Job Description

The person in this position is responsible for installation and repair of the  L&W owned gaming devices at our Delaware casinos.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs extensive field repair functions including installing, converting, removing equipment communications equipment and peripheral procedures, with little to no supervision.
  • Be able to provide effective, professional oral or written communication to all customers, both internal and external
  • Accountable to respond to all service calls in a timely manner during your shift.
  • Completes assigned training courses; assigned by Management Staff or Technical Training Dept.
  • Performs basic computer skills.
  • Must have be able to obtain and maintain Gaming/ Lottery licenses as required.
  • Be able to provide effective, professional oral or written communication to all customers, both internal and external
  • Accountable to understand SG product software and applications. Be able to provide basic instructions, and/or answer customer questions.
  • Must follow all Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety procedures and any additional state licensing regulations as applicable.
  • Is accountable to notify supervisor / manager of any repairs or problems that need to be escalated.

Qualifications

Education

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.


Years of Related Experience

  • Four or more years of experience in the assembly, testing, or repair of electronic devices, or equivalent work experience and related gaming school certificate of completion or equivalent
  • Accountable for complete and accurate reports
  • Accountable to diagnosis and repair lottery and/or gaming products and peripherals, including signs, in a quick and timely manner. Repairs must meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus working with computer and business equipment.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. If your position requires you to work in the field, production, and/or warehouse, it is mandatory that you use the approved Personal Protective Equipment.


Work Conditions

  • The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
  • May be required to work at any of the three (3) of the Delaware casinos.
