Job Details

For Southwest England, the incumbent will be a customer-focused and technically motivated Field Service Engineer, who will be responsible for the installation, service, repair and maintenance of our portfolio of devices and services as well as for providing application support for the customers to ensure correct use of the installed equipment. Ideally residing in the vicinity of Exeter, Bristol, and Salisbury, strong candidates out with this are may also be considered, the incumbent is expected to travel within their designated region and UK as required.

The Cell Saver® Elite®+ autotransfusion system provides hospitals with an easy-to-use way to recover a patient’s own blood during medium to high blood loss procedures. This includes cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, transplant, vascular and OBGYN surgeries. The complete system is designed to be intuitive and flexible for optimal performance and to support exceptional patient care.

TEG® 6s

Providing fast, actionable results to help you reduce risks, complications and costs

The TEG 6s haemostasis system advances viscoelastic haemostasis testing to deliver high-quality results. The cartridge-based TEG 6s analyser is small, robust and easy-to-operate allowing it to be confidently placed in convenient settings to further reduce time to clinical decisions.

BloodTrack®

Support patient safety, maintain traceability and reduce costs

The BloodTrack® modular suite of blood management and bedside transfusion solutions act as an extension of your transfusion laboratory information system to optimise your hospital’s blood supply chain and provide safe, secure and fully traceable remote blood storage.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, proactive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for customers in the above - mentioned region

  • Management of minimal downtime on all Haemonetics systems, through effective training of site personnel and quick problem investigations

  • Organization, coordination and preparation of application training

  • Delivery of application training to site personnel to effectively use the medical equipment installed

  • Coordination and delivery of technical training for customer personnel, as well as Haemonetics’ employees

  • Development of strong partnerships with prospective customers by organizing product demo as well as with existing Haemonetics’ customers by constantly promoting our products

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in technical engineering or technical education with sound technical knowledge or at least four years of experience in a Field Service position or medical device environment or a similar role

  • Impeccable customer service skills and a confident and professional manner in customer facing environments.

  • Technical aptitude to understand, train customers and users on products

  • Excellent mastery of English

  • Flexibility to travel and overnight stays

  • Ability to work autonomously in a constantly changing environment

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Capacity to manage time constraints

  • Demonstrated computer & basic networking skills

  • Full Driving license
