As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer - Tijuana /Mexicali who will be responsible for perform installation, periodic maintenance, repair and modification of equipment.

Your new role:

This role has responsibility to maintain all equipment and systems to attain designated product performance metrics and ensure customer satisfaction. This position is on-site.

What you'll be doing in your new role:

  • Schedules and performs installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of equipment within the assigned territory, ensuring optimal system performance.

  • Maintains accurate records in compliance with regulatory and complaint handling requirements.

  • Manages assigned company assets, including tools, inventory, vehicle, and IT equipment.

  • Provides technical training and product briefings to customers, partners, and internal teams.

  • Supports sales activities by identifying technical solutions aligned with product and customer specifications.

  • Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements, managing territory responsibilities related to hardware and software maintenance.

  • ​​Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual:

  • Professional degree: BS degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronic / Mechatronic, Biomedical, or related field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Field Service Engineer.

  • English proficiency.

  • Travel 50%

The Work Environment

  • This position requires the individual to provide service support in the hospital/clinical laboratory environment.
