As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer - Tijuana /Mexicali who will be responsible for perform installation, periodic maintenance, repair and modification of equipment.
Your new role:
This role has responsibility to maintain all equipment and systems to attain designated product performance metrics and ensure customer satisfaction. This position is on-site.
What you'll be doing in your new role:
Schedules and performs installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of equipment within the assigned territory, ensuring optimal system performance.
Maintains accurate records in compliance with regulatory and complaint handling requirements.
Manages assigned company assets, including tools, inventory, vehicle, and IT equipment.
Provides technical training and product briefings to customers, partners, and internal teams.
Supports sales activities by identifying technical solutions aligned with product and customer specifications.
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements, managing territory responsibilities related to hardware and software maintenance.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
The Individual:
Professional degree: BS degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronic / Mechatronic, Biomedical, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Field Service Engineer.
English proficiency.
Travel 50%
The Work Environment
This position requires the individual to provide service support in the hospital/clinical laboratory environment.
