Job Description
Join our team as a Field Service Engineer III – Bulk Elemental Analysis, supporting customers in the cement and heavy industry sector. In this role, you will provide installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of analytical instruments used for bulk elemental analysis, including XRF, OES, and related technologies critical for quality control and process optimization.
You will work closely with cement plants and industrial laboratories to ensure reliable operation of instrumentation used in raw material, clinker, and final product analysis. This role requires strong technical expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in demanding industrial environments. Additionally, you will deliver user training, support workflow optimization, and build long-term relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair bulk elemental analysis instrumentation (e.g., XRF, OES)
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and application issues in industrial environments
- Support customers in cement plants with process control and quality assurance workflows
- Provide technical training and guidance to end users
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate service documentation and comply with safety and quality standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years servicing analytical instrumentation in industrial or laboratory environments
- Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electronics or related technical field
- Experience with bulk elemental analysis techniques (XRF preferred) and industrial applications
- Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and quality control is highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electro-mechanical systems, electronics, and software
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems, networking, and standard business tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with industrial customers
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 25–50%
- Ability to work in industrial plant environments and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently with strong team collaboration
- Availability to respond to urgent customer needs
