Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled customer visits to identify opportunities and provide technical solutions to improve productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Identify requirements for new equipment, upgrades, and replacements; analyze process data to optimize or replace process lines.
  • Proactively generate new sales opportunities and manage pipeline in the CRM system.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribution margin objectives.
  • Lead productivity improvement projects and measure operational gains.
  • Recommend Pumps, Hydrocyclones, and Valves in coordination with internal technical teams, complying with pricing guidelines.
  • Develop and execute regional business strategies, prepare business cases, and monitor sales performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure execution of customer commitments.
  • Manage consignment contracts, inventory, and material replenishment.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations and technical discussions to influence customer decision-making.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer investment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, commercial governance, and reporting standards.
  • Support commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities for installed equipment, providing technical recommendations and follow-ups.
  • Participate in cross-functional business reviews, sharing insights on account performance, growth opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Track KPIs and metrics, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to continuously improve commercial performance.
  • Identify customer requirements for the introduction of new equipment, equipment upgrades, and equipment replacement.
  • Analyze and capture process data in the Concentrator Plant, for both FLSmidth equipment and competitor equipment, in order to optimize and/or replace process lines.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Proactive identification of new sales opportunities.
  • Achievement of sales targets for the assigned region (annual budget) and contribution margin objectives.
  • Proactive development of productivity improvement projects. Ongoing management of opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Preparation of sales reports and performance reporting.
  • Provide strategic commercial input for the region, contributing to long-term growth plans and account development strategies.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and business plans aligned with company objectives and market conditions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer investment plans in order to proactively adjust commercial strategies.
  • Offer Customer-Specific Service & Technical Support.
  • Provide specialized customer service through the recommendation of appropriate Pumps, Hydrocyclones, and Valves to optimize customer production processes, in close consultation with internal technical expert teams.
  • Ensure compliance with pre-established discount levels and pricing guidelines in coordination with management for all commercial quotations submitted.
