  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, including system-of-systems failures, networking faults, and C-UAS operational problems.

  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to analyze failures, implement solutions, and improve system performance.

  • Provide on-site technical training, mentorship, and certification support to customer and partner personnel.

  • Maintain accurate service records, technical reports, and logs, capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement.

  • Follow strict safety and security procedures to protect personnel, systems, and sensitive information.

  • Manage spare parts, tools, and logistics to maintain operational readiness.

  • Support multiple AV systems and initiatives as needed, demonstrating flexibility across a diverse technology portfolio.

**This position will be based onsite in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and requires availability for travel to other locations as needed to support operations.**

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as an FSR or in a similar technical role supporting radar, networking, computer systems, RF, acoustic, or C-UAS equipment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across complex electronic, IT, and software-integrated systems.

  • Ability to work independently, adapt to rapidly changing operational conditions, and support high-pressure missions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Relevant technical certifications or degrees in engineering, IT, electronics, or related disciplines preferred.

  • Eligibility for a passport and willingness to meet security and labor requirements for OCONUS deployments.

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.

  • Prior military or defense contractor experience supporting fielded electronic or networked systems.

  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve system-of-systems operations.

  • Ability to operate effectively within multinational teams and diverse environments.

  • At least three years of experience leading or supervising technical or operational teams.

  • At least five years of experience developing or supervising technical training, certification, or quality-assurance programs.
