Field Sales Representative – Denmark/Sweden
Richardson RFPD is seeking a Field Sales Representative to support customers in Denmark and Sweden.
This role combines technical and commercial sales, involving active customer visits, assisting with component selection, and providing guidance on product integration in projects. You will be responsible for both acquiring new business and maintaining high-quality service for existing clients. Success in this role requires developing and implementing account strategies, cultivating key relationships, and ensuring a strong foundation for solution selling. Maintaining and enhancing relationships with customer contacts who identify design opportunities and address existing business challenges is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Creation:
- Actively visit customers and drive key supplier initiatives to maximize RichardsonRFPD’s design-in content and technical services.
- Track development projects at each customer and their stages.
- Coordinate manufacturer and RichardsonRFPD FAE support to maximize new design opportunities.
- Increase engagement in the account base through RichardsonRFPD’s technical services.
Account Management:
- Take full ownership of assigned accounts and develop relationships at all customer levels.
- Conduct frequent on-site visits to maintain visibility and understanding of customer needs.
- Grow business on assigned accounts to maximize market share, profitability, and design-in profile.
- Collaborate with Field Application Engineers, Field Marketing, Asset, Business Process Excellence (BPE), customers, and suppliers to expand business.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Commercial Activities:
- Maintain up-to-date account profiles.
- Develop account strategies and plans based on analysis and deep customer knowledge.
- Promote RichardsonRFPD’s suppliers proactively and negotiate commercial terms where appropriate.
- Prioritize time on the largest growth opportunities within the account base.
- Communicate proactively and use all available resources to ensure smooth operations and maximize return.
- Understand competitive activities within the account base.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical and sales skills with the ability to influence decisions at all customer levels.
- Knowledge of RF&MW and/or of Power Electronics is a plus
- Preferably industry experience in distribution or technical sales.
- Knowledge of power electronics is a plus.
- Customer-oriented with strong empathy and communication skills.
- Excellent prospecting, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Energetic, creative, and results-focused.
- Analytical and planning skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Swedish or Danish is a significant plus.
